Our Mission Statement
Clarksburg Town Center Farmers' Market supports and promotes the local agricultural community by providing a venue for local farmers to connect with consumers in order to market locally grown, high quality, fresh produce, plants, and food products. The market also serves as a community gathering and information center relating to community activities and education about the local farming industry, as well as, organic products.
Sitting in close proximity to the Montgomery County Agricultural Preserve, Clarksburg was a natural choice for a farmers’ market. A group of eager residents came together, and with the support of Newland Communities, started The Clarksburg Town Center Farmers’ Market (CTCFM) with the idea to provide fresh local produce to consumers throughout upper Montgomery County.
With consumers more and more aware of the health benefits of eating fresh, locally grown food and the demand for fresh produce increasing annually, the level of interest in farmers’ markets is at an all-time high.
Starting June 6, 2010 and closing in late-October, the Market will be held each Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and will feature producer only farms, food vendors, artisans & Live musicians. The location of the Market is at the intersection of Public House Road and Ebenezer Chapel Drive in Clarksburg Town Center.
The CTCFM is made up of a Steering Committee and Board of Directors from neighboring Clarksburg communities. Those residents are:
Elizabeth Garofalo
Wendy Davis
Christopher Kelly
Taty Franklin

It is the intent of the CTCFM steering committee and board of directors to grow this market each year to be a self-sustaining, robust, thriving community endeavor and a market that will soon become Maryland’s Best.
We welcome your support and involvement as a food vendor, volunteer, or customer.
